Executive Director Lynn Reed brings unique qualifications to Literacy Volunteers of Maricopa County, Inc. Scholastically, she holds a BS degree in Social Work and a BS degree in Accounting. She has been a manager for the Arizona Department of Economic Security and since 1986, she has managed her own accounting firm. She has also been a very active member of the Volunteer Nonprofit Service Association. After serving as a Literacy Volunteers board member and treasurer, Lynn was appointed Executive Director in 1996.
Margaret Quintana, our Learn Center Coordinator, is no stranger to the field of adult education. With a Masters degree in Adult Education, Margaret has been involved in various adult education programs for over 12 years, including volunteering as a tutor with LVMC. She has served as President of the Arizona Association of Lifelong Learning, a member of the Project LEARN Council, and as an AZ Adult Education Standards Specialist.
Arcelia Zamora has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Arizona State University and she is currently working on a Master of Arts degree in Languages and Literature. She has been a teacher for many years in Preschool, Elementary, High School and College. For three years she worked as an Adult Educator in LVMC's Family Literacy program before taking on the position of Family Literacy Coordinator in 1998.
